90-day visit visa available for Dubai residents' family

Travel agencies have confirmed that Dubai residents who want to host their family or friends in the country can now get a 90-day visit visa. A PRO for a Dubai-based company told media he secured a 90-visit visa for his company employees' family members. Here are all the details on where to apply for the visa and the total cost of the service:  

How much does it cost to get a 90-day visit visa in Dubai?

The total cost of obtaining a 90-day visit visa is Dh1,770. The host is required to pay a refundable deposit of Dh1,000 with typing charges and a service fee of Dh770.

To apply for a 90-day visit visa, the Dubai resident can host immediate blood relatives like their mother, father, or siblings.  

Where to apply for a 90-day visit visa in Dubai?

According to the travel agencies, a resident who wishes to obtain a 90-day visit visa for family members must apply on the website of the General Directorate of Residency & Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) website or app, or through AMER typing centers. On the GDRFA website, users can also apply for entry permits for business or job opportunities, entry permits for those waiting for their Green visas, and a patient escort permit. ICP recently announced a new package of updates to improve services provided to citizens, residents, and visitors through its smart services system. AMER typing center is a one-stop shop that allows residents and citizens of UAE to complete all visa and residency transactions under a single roof. ICP has updated 15 services as of February 1.
