UAE announces Eid Al Fitr 2023 holiday for private sector

The Eid Al Fitr 2023 holiday in the UAE will be from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced on Thursday (April 13). The UAE Moon Sighting Committee has yet to announce the official start of Eid, depending on when the moon is sighted. However, if the first day of Eid is declared on Friday (April 21), this means that UAE residents will get a four-day break. Earlier on Thursday, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources also announced the same holiday for public sector employees. ICA/Expat Media
