Private sector workers in the UAE will have a paid public holiday on December 2, 3 and 4, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced on Wednesday (November 22). The public holidays are on the occasion of the 52nd UAE National day. Public sector workers will also have a paid public holiday on these dates. It will be the final holiday of the year. The next public holiday will be in 2024, for the January 1 new year. This falls on a Monday, which means residents will enjoy a three-day weekend. ICA/Expat Media
