UAE billionaire reveals plan for ‘female’ Burj Khalifa

UAE billionaire and Emaar founder Mohammed Alabbar has revealed plans for a new tower in Dubai, describing it a “female” Burj Khalifa. Alabbar was speaking at the recent Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024. He revealed that the tower will be smaller than the Burj Khalifa. “In elegance, it reminds you of Marilyn Monroe,” Alabbar said, adding that Dubai-based developer Emaar considers the tower as the "female" version of Burj Khalifa. The billionaire businessman said that work on the tower is underway. “We have just approved the tower and we are starting construction now,” he said.
