The Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, posted a stunning animation video of the Burj Khalifa on Tuesday. The Burj Khalifa was shown in the computer-generated imagery (CGI) video having a colossal umbrella emerge from it to protect it from the rain. "It's that time of the year! #MyDubai ☔️ 🌧️," Sheikh Hamdan wrote as the caption for the video. The clip showed the Burj Khalifa opening up like a futuristic building to launch the umbrella. The video garnered over 488,740 likes and 6,000 comments on Instagram. On Monday, different parts of the UAE saw rain, occasionally accompanied by lightning and thunder, and a 3 °C dip. To protect visitor safety, Sharjah Municipality decided on Monday to temporarily close all parks in the city due to the rain. BKM/ Expat Media
