Check out these upcoming world-class attractions in 2023

The UAE is home to the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, one of the world's largest malls, The Dubai Mall, and some of the world's most beautiful structures, including the Museum of the Future. However, the nation's world-class attractions do not end there. Check out this sneak peek of the upcoming projects scheduled to open in 2023:

Atlantis The Royal

The luxury resort Atlantis The Royal is set to open in January 2023. The cantilevered 43-story resort will feature 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms, and 102 suites, all with views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island. The resort will also have 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop infinity pool suspended 90 meters above ground level on the 22nd floor. Atlantis Restaurants will also be run by global celebrity chefs such as Gastón Acurio, Costas Spiliadis, Ariana Bundy, Heston Blumenthal, and José Andrés. Sybille de Margerie, a French interior design expert, is said to have commissioned a slew of talented contemporary artists to personalize each residence.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, a marine-themed park, will house the world's largest aquarium when it opens in 2023. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which has completed 90 percent of its construction, will also serve as a research and rescue center. Over 150 marine species will be housed in the 183,000-square-metre facility, led by marine scientists, veterinarians, animal care professionals, rescue experts, and educators. The venue, which will be built on five indoor levels, will also have a rescue team to assist authorities 24 hours a day, seven days a week. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi visitors can enjoy immersive and interactive exhibits. "The central 'One Ocean' realm of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi links six distinct marine environments throughout the park, all of which tell a unified story based on the interconnectivity of all life on earth and in our ocean," SeaWorld Abu Dhabi said in a statement. "Within the central hub, guests will encounter fascinating ocean stories presented in an expansive 360-degree fully immersive media experience, transporting them from one fascinating place to another, while they encounter much of the ocean's diverse marine-life, learning how the One Ocean current impacts us all," the statement said. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is expected to hold over 58 million liters of water.

Kempinski Floating Palace

The Kempinski Floating Palace is a five-star luxury hotel on the water. The floating building, set to open in 2023, will feature a glass pyramid-topped main building divided into four sections. Aside from over 150 guestrooms and suites, the hotel will also house 12 luxury villas linked by "pontoons." The two, three, and four houseboats are for sale, but hotel guests can rent them out. "Cruising at a maximum speed of 6 nautical miles, the villas are equipped with solar panels and are designed to be environmentally friendly," Kempinski said in a statement. Guests are transported to the 156-room and suite hotel or villas by speed boats. The hotel will also feature a "connected floating helipad next to an impressive yacht parking deck for up to 16 yachts," the statement said. Guests at the Kempinski Floating Palace have access to gourmet restaurants, bars, a spa, pools, boutiques, banquet areas, and the possibility of even larger yachts sailing in and out of the hotel's center.
