Two Dubai Metro stations get new names: RTA

  DUBAI – Two Dubai Metro stations now have new names, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday (August 4). Al Jafiliya Station has been renamed to Max Fashion and Al Rashdiya will be renamed as Centrepoint after the RTA gave the renaming rights to retail chain Landmark Group. The renaming process will be carried out from August 4 to October 10. External signs and e-systems of the Dubai Metro will be updated during this period to reflect the new names of the two stations.
