Hamdan exempts 426 Emiratis from paying housing loans worth Dh146 million

The Dubai Crown Prince has directed on Wednesday (April 19) the exemption of over 426 citizens with limited incomes from paying their housing loans, amounting to Dh146 million. The announcement was confirmed via Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Twitter post, which says, “We directed to exempt 426 citizens with limited income from paying the remaining housing loans, amounting to 146 million dirhams…” The Supreme Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs is responsible for following up on the implementation of the decision, he added. Sheik Hamdan stressed in the post that they would continue to implement initiatives and provide all support to enhance the standard of living for all citizens in Dubai.
