Eid Al Fitr holidays for govt employees announced

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced the official Eid Al Fitr holidays for Dubai government employees. It will be the first long weekend from Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3,1444 AH. Celebrated after the holy month on the first of Shawwal, Eid Al Fitr is the month that follows Ramadan in the Hijri calendar. The holy month of Ramadan began in the Emirates on March 23; it will last for 29 days this year, which means that the Eid holiday will begin on April 20. RZSP/Expat Media
