Filipinos get special New Year greeting on Burj Khalifa

Filipinos and Indians received a special New Year’s greeting on the Burj Khalifa as the world’s tallest tower prepared for its record-breaking New Year LED and fireworks show on January 1. The words “Maligayang bagong taon, kabayan!” flashed on the facade of the 828-metre tall Burj Khalifa minutes before it begun its record 2023 show with the largest laser display in addition to spectacular fireworks and a synchronised show by the Dubai Fountain.
