Expo 2020 fireworks and show at Dubai Frame, Dubai Festival City Mall

DUBAI – An extravagant fountain show and a one-of-a-kind fireworks show drew thousands of visitors at Dubai Festival City (DFC) Mall on Friday (October 1) to mark the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai. The official Expo 2020 song played over loud speakers and flashed on the DFC building during the Expo X IMAGINE Show at 8:15pm. The song, This is Our Time, features UAE singer Hussain Al Jassmi, Lebanese-American Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Mayssa Karaa, and 21-year-old Emirati singer-songwriter Almas. This was followed by breathtaking fireworks at 8:20pm. Watch the live coverage here. The Expo X IMAGINE Show will run until October 9. Fireworks displays also took place on Friday evening at The Frame and The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, with each presenting their own unique celebrations.
