Filipinos are expected to gather at Al Ahli Stadium in Al Nahda on Saturday (June 27) as Fiestang Pinoy Dubai brings a full day of community activities, entertainment, wellness programs and employment opportunities. The event will run from 6am to 6pm and is designed as a celebration of Filipino culture, unity and community spirit in the UAE, organizers told Expat Media. One of the main attractions will be a special Zumba Fiesta led by popular fitness instructor and former Sexbomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, expected to draw fitness enthusiasts from across the emirates. Organisers said the event will also feature a Zumba marathon, cultural performances, live entertainment, games, raffles and giveaways, as well as a wide variety of Filipino food stalls and retail vendors. Families attending the event can take part in several activities, including Larong Pinoy games, indoor board games and a chess tournament. A Kakanin Festival showcasing traditional Filipino delicacies will also be among the highlights. Visitors will also find non-food products from various exhibitors and small businesses participating in the event. Beyond entertainment, Fiestang Pinoy Dubai will offer practical services for the community, including medical services and a jobseekers’ screening and interview programme with limited slots available. Organisers said the event aims to create opportunities for overseas Filipino workers while strengthening community ties among Filipinos living in the UAE. General registration is available online, while separate registration is required for jobseekers interested in employment screening and interviews. The gathering is expected to attract residents from Dubai, Sharjah and neighbouring emirates, offering a venue for families and friends to celebrate Filipino heritage while enjoying a day of recreation and networking.
