Mahzooz: 2 Filipinos intend to spend on education, charity after winning Dh100,000 each

Dario and Lucille from the Philippines are among the lucky winners who took home Dh100,000 each after winning the raffle draw prizes. Dario, a Filipino Dubai resident for the past 13 years, is overjoyed and believes the prize is a blessing that will help him secure the education of his three children: "I called my wife back home the very night of the draw, and she thought that something terrible happened to me as it was early morning in the Philippines. When she understood the call, she got very emotional and couldn't control herself. We both immediately said that this money would be used for our kids' education," said Dario. The 48-year-old, a senior supervisor in the emergency department at one of the government entities, purchases Mahzooz water bottles almost every week in the hope of winning. Now that the Dh100,000 prize has become his, Dario's faith in Mahzooz is reinforced, and he will continue participating in the weekly draws. For Lucille, a fellow winner from the Philippines, participating in Mahzooz is indirectly helping people in need through the company's active community outreach. "I am a firm believer that people need to share their blessings with others, and when it is time for them to win, they will win," she said. Empathy is innate for the 48-year-old nurse who is determined to deliver on her promise to help her friend in a financial crisis whenever God blesses her with any prize money. "I had promised my friend that if I ever won, I would financially support her to get her back on her feet," she added. Lucille will only indulge in a designer handbag after securing the education of her children and her nephews. The top prize of Dh10,000,000 is still up for grabs at the next Super Saturday draws, and so is the top prize of Dh10,000,000 at the Fantastic Friday Epic Draw. Entrants can participate in Mahzooz by registering via www.mahzooz.ae and purchasing a water bottle for Dh35. This enables them to enter multiple draws, the Fantastic Friday Epic Draw and the Super Saturday Draws, by choosing two sets of numbers. The Super Saturday Draws require participants to pick 5 out of 49 numbers to win the top prize of Dh10,000,000, the second prize of Dh1,000,000, or the third prize of Dh350. Participants will be automatically entered into the raffle draw, in which three guaranteed winners will each receive Dh100,000. The Fantastic Friday Epic Draw requires participants to choose six numbers out of 39 to win Dh10,000,000. Mahzooz means lucky in Arabic and is the UAE's favorite draw that offers participants a life-changing opportunity to win millions every week. Mahzooz is dedicated to making people's dreams come true and giving back to the community. PR/ Expat Media
