ICP announces new Emirates ID card registration form

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has announced the new Emirates ID registration form that allows residents to track their application status and change their fingerprint scanning. The new Emirates ID card registration form has simplified the application process, the ICP announced on Tuesday (February 28). According to Shafiq Muhammad, Chief Supervisor at Horizon Gate Government Transactions Center, the new form now includes QR codes for application tracking that state the applicant's email address. It also has fingerprint appointment details — the date, time, location, and reference number. Muhammad emphasized that first-time applicants applying for an Emirates ID must provide their biometric data for the card.
