30 photographs of Emirati women will be featured at Expo 2020 Dubai for Women's day 2022

With international women's day fast approaching on March 8, the UAE Pavilion will feature 30 photographs of Emirati women at the UAE Gender Balance Council's (UAEGBC) UAE's Women Face Print exhibition. The exhibition aims to highlight the ways of life in the early days of the emirates before the establishment of the Union. A painting of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai will be placed at the heart of the exhibition. The narratives in the photographs reflect the great efforts the UAE's founding fathers put towards equality and empowering women in all aspects of life, nonetheless the support of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The exhibition is divided into four sections: The Al Saas collection charts featuring the educational journey of Emirate women; the Al Sanad collection displaying the mother as the spirit of her household; the Hasheem collection highlighting the authentic modesty of every Emirati woman's life; and the Ummayah collection highlighting the meaning of love, kindness, ambition, hope, patience, and pride that every mother embodies.
