90-day visit visa for family, friends

Travel agents report a high demand for the three-month visit visa, and they receive up to 40 callers a day. They have advised the residents to submit applications for these visas for family members and friends at an Amer typing center by paying a refundable deposit of Dh1,000. “Since the news about the three-month visas broke out, residents have made plans to bring their relatives to Dubai for 90 days rather than issuing the two-month visa,” said Libin Varghese, sales director of Rooh Travel and Tourism. Travel agents have been receiving the same inquiries about 35-40 daily. They have repeatedly explained that they have no role in issuing visas. Industry experts say that the visas can also be applied for online by an individual on the GDRFA website or the app. As part of the Advanced Visa System, significant changes to visa visas were introduced in the UAE in October 2022. It is one of the most significant changes to residency and entry permits in the UAE. The visa cost, issued to family members who must be immediate blood relations like parents or siblings, is about Dh1,750, security deposit included.
