Travelers have 60-day entry permit for Green Visa

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai issued a 60-day entry permit to qualified individuals worldwide to finish the requirements for obtaining a Green Visa. This permit is comparable to a license given to potential Golden Visa applicants. However, the permit is a six-month, multiple-entry permit. According to travel and typing center agents, UAE's Green Visa is one of the residency services with the most inquiries. The UAE Green Visa is a five-year, self-sponsored residency for eligible people.

Who are the eligible people to get the 5-year Green Visa?

Skilled professionals: The minimum educational level of the applicants must be a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and the monthly income should not be less than Dh15,000. They should have a valid job contract and be categorized in the first, second or third occupational level per the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. Freelancers and self-employed: Bachelor's degree or specialized certification should be the minimum level of education for the applicants. They must have earned at least Dh360,000 a year for the previous two years or provide evidence of their ability to support themselves financially for their entire stay in the country. Investors/Business Partners: The requirements are the approval and proof of the investment. The total invested capital will be determined if the investor (partner) has multiple licenses. It is necessary to receive the competent local authorities approval.

How much is the cost and where to apply?

The GDRFA website states that the cost of the 60-day permit is Dh335.75. An additional sum of Dh650 will be added if the entry permit is issued inside the country. Applicants for Green Visa entry permits can avail of the service and get their entry permits through e-mail. People may also use Amer centers to apply. KD/Expat Media
