Bank employee opens fire while live streaming on Insta, kills 5

A 25-year-old bank employee opened fire at his workplace in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, Monday (April 10), killing five people and eight injured, while live streaming the attack on Instagram. The authorities identified the gunman as Connor Sturgeon, an employee at Old National Bank. The mass shooting started at the Old National Bank on East Main Street just about 30 minutes before the bank opened. The police officers got into a shootout with the gunman, which killed the latter. In the records, the bank mass shooting is the 15th mass killing in the country this year. The recent one was just two weeks ago after a former student killed three children and three adults at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee. Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, released a statement that it had “quickly removed the live stream” of the tragic incident. RZSP/Expat Media
