5,059 recover from Covid-19 in UAE in 24 hours

  DUBAI – The UAE recorded its highest number of Covid-19 recoveries in a day, with 5,059 people declared Covid-free on Sunday (February 14). The UAE’s total number of people who have recovered from coronavirus now stands at 331,839. Meanwhile, 3,167 more people contracted the virus and another 13 died in the last 24 hours, health authorities said. Sunday’s numbers bring the total number of Covid-19 cases in the UAE to 348,771 and the death toll to 1,014. Meanwhile, the UAE conducted 207,432 more Covid-19 tests in 24 hours. More than 28.1 million tests have been conducted across the country since the coronavirus outbreak last year. In Abu Dhabi, officials announced widespread testing in Baniyas as well as Al Ain’s Al Aamerah area after Covid-19 cases were detected in these areas. ICA/Expat Media
