Coronavirus in UAE: Number of new cases jumps to 735

  DUBAI – The UAE reported 735 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (September 2), the highest daily number of new coronavirus cases in weeks. The newly infected were discovered after the UAE conducted 79,623 new tests in 24 hours, according to the UAE Ministry of Health. The increase in cases marks the highest daily rise since May 27. It also brings the UAE’s total number of coronavirus cases to 71,540. Meanwhile, three more people died while 538 more people have recovered from the virus on Wednesday. The death toll now stands at 387 while the total number recovered patients is at 62,029. ICA/Expat Media
