The Transportation Systems Department aims to provide appropriate channels for those who wish to reserve vehicles of all kinds. The taxi booking service costs Dh5. According to the RTA, the taxi delivery time will depend on the type of vehicle that commuters will book. It takes 30 minutes to complete the service for regular or family vehicles, and an hour for taxis for women and people of determination. Customers who wish to book services may visit the Sharjah RTA website or call 600525252. An automated pager device is available in government departments, hospitals, and hotels.
