Sharjah Police has issued a warning to the public after videos of a Jordanian woman’s murder at a parking lot in Sharjah went viral on social media. The 20-year-old Jordanian woman was stabbed to death by her husband in Sharjah. Jordanian media identified the victim as Lubna Mansour, while her family posted messages of mourning on social media. Sharjah Police said the victim’s body was found in her car on Friday (June 24) in a parking lot at the building where she lived. Police said the killer was arrested less than two hours after the murder. Videos and photos of the incident went viral on Tuesday night, and Sharjah Police General Command has warned the public against circulating the footage or photos online. Police said legal action will be taken against those who post videos or photos of crime scenes or accidents. Meanwhile, police said the murder suspect’s case has been registered with the Public Prosecution and that he has confessed to killing his wife. CCTV footage at the time of the incident showed that the victim was attacked in her car and stabbed several times before her attacker fled the car. He was later found hiding at a beach.
