UAE hits highest daily Covid-19 cases at 1,231 on October 3

  DUBAI – The UAE recorded its highest daily number of Covid-19 cases on Saturday (October 3) with 1,231 new infections in 24 hours. This is the fourth day that the daily number of Covid-19 cases in the UAE reached an all-time high. Since August, daily cases have been increasing. Also on Saturday, 1,051 people have recovered from coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 87,122. Two more people died, raising the death toll to 426. The figures came as the UAE conducted 117,812 new tests in 24 hours, bringing the country’s total number of coronavirus tests to more than 10 million.
