UAE reports highest number of Covid-19 recoveries: 2,443 in 24 hours

  DUBAI – The UAE reported its highest number of Covid-19 recoveries in 24 hours, with 2,443 more people having recovered from the virus as of Sunday (September 6). This brings the total number of people who have recovered from coronavirus in the UAE to 66,095, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention. Meanwhile, 513 more people contracted coronavirus in the country on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to 73,984. There are currently 7,501 active cases of Covid-19 in the UAE. There were no new deaths reported on Sunday. The death toll stands at 388 since the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. Meanwhile, UAE authorities said mass testing continues across the emirates, with a further 87,336 tests conducted across the country in 24 hours. The UAE Ministry of Health reported 513 new cases on Sunday from 87,336 tests. A further 2,443 recoveries were also recorded.
