Change in paid parking days in Dubai announced

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council, announced that paid parking days in Dubai will operate 14 hours daily except for public holidays and Sundays. The paid service starts from 8 AM to 10 PM and has changed from Sundays instead of the usual Fridays. Multi-story facilities, on the other hand, will charge parking fees 24 hours daily and seven days of the week. The allotted time for parked vehicles may vary from places, such as four hours in roadside parking slots, 24 hours in parking lots, and 30 days in multi-story facilities. The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) is given the authority to change or reduce the time slots for paid parking and exempt certain categories of people, areas, or time periods from parking fees.
