India: Man commits suicide by stuffing firecracker in mouth

A 24-year-old man committed suicide by stuffing a firecracker in his mouth in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district on Sunday (April 23), police said. The deceased took the extreme step because of financial issues. Brajesh Prajapati, the deceased, was “stressed about not being able to pursue higher studies in a big city due to his family’s financial condition,” said the report. The deceased burst the bomb cracker in the toilet at around 9am. His family rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead. A case has been registered and is to be further investigated. According to Hridyesh, the elder brother, Brajesh was good in studies and a student of BSC in a local college. He claimed that the financial condition of the family was “not good” and that they could not send Brajesh to a big city for studies. RZSP/Expat Media
