6 policemen killed in car-truck collision in Pakistan

In the Khuzdar area of Pakistan's Balochistan province, a car and a truck collided on Sunday (April 16), killing six police officers, according to the authorities. Xinhua News Agency stated that the truck was traveling in the opposite direction when it struck the car, causing the accident to occur on the Quetta-Karachi national highway in the Wadh area of the district. According to authorities, rescue personnel arrived at the scene and transported the wounded to the hospital. According to authorities, the officers were returning home for the Eid al-Fitr celebration after completing a course at a police training college. They were traveling from Quetta, the provincial capital, to the Hub area of the province.
