A man has been arrested at the Dubai International Airport after he was caught trying to smuggle 3.2kg of cocaine in a body belt. The suspect arrived in Dubai from a Latin American country. When his body was scanned, officers found drugs hidden in his body belt. “The passenger admitted that he was paid to deliver the cocaine to an individual inside the UAE,” said Ibrahim Al Kamali, director of the passenger operations department at Dubai Customs. The suspect has been handed over to the General Directorate of Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police. He is expected to face trial. ICA/Expat Media
