Missing Sharjah teen found at Dubai Airport Terminal 1
A teenager from Sharjah who was reported missing over the weekend has been found at Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 at past midnight on Monday (February 19). Felix Jeby, 18, was spotted by an Indian passenger bound for Kuwait. Jeby’s father said the Indian traveler recognized their son after seeing his missing person poster on social media when he arrived in Kuwait. He then alerted the family. The younger Jeby, who is autistic, was found safe in the departure area of Dubai International Airport. It is not clear how he reached the airport after he was reported missing in City Centre Sharjah during a shopping trip with his mother and sister on Saturday evening. Jeby’s father believes the teen may have walked all the way to the airport, which is 18 kilometres away from City Centre Sharjah. The family thanked the Indian passenger who called the family as well as the public who helped search for the missing teen.
