14 Dubai public parks to stay open until 1am for New Year's Eve celebrations

Families planning to celebrate New Year’s Eve outdoors will have more options this year, as 14 public parks across Dubai will extend operating hours until 1am on January 1 (Thursday). Dubai Municipality said the extended hours are intended to provide safe, comfortable spaces for families who wish to enjoy fireworks and city-wide celebrations without heading to crowded hotspots. The move forms part of a broader New Year programme that includes fireworks and drone shows across multiple locations in the emirate, including major landmarks and residential areas. Authorities encouraged visitors to arrive early, follow safety guidelines, and respect park regulations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
