UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan marked the arrival of 2026 by sharing a heartfelt New Year message, extending wishes of peace, prosperity and unity to people in the UAE and around the world. “Best wishes on the occasion of the new year. As we come together in celebration, let us welcome the year ahead with renewed hope and determination in efforts to foster unity, progress and prosperity for all,” Sheikh Mohamed wrote on his official X account. He added: “I pray to Almighty Allah that 2026 will be a year of goodness and development in the United Arab Emirates, and of peace, stability, and cooperation throughout the entire world.”
