Global Village to ring in 2026 with 7 New Year fireworks

Global Village is set to welcome 2026 with one of Dubai’s most unique New Year’s Eve celebrations, giving visitors the chance to experience seven New Year countdowns from different countries in a single night. The family-friendly destination will extend its opening hours on December 31 (Wednesday) from 4pm to 2am, featuring live DJ performances on the Main Stage, fireworks and drone displays, and cultural entertainment for all ages. Branded as “Seven New Year Celebrations in One Night,” the event allows guests to celebrate the arrival of the new year across multiple international time zones, all within one venue. Each countdown will be marked with its own fireworks and drone show, creating a rolling global celebration from early evening until the early hours of the morning.

China – 8pm Thailand – 9pm Bangladesh – 10pm India – 10:30pm Pakistan – 11pm UAE – midnight Turkey – 1am Beyond the countdowns, visitors can explore 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, shop at over 3,500 retail outlets, and dine at more than 250 food and beverage destinations. Popular areas such as the Floating Market, Fiesta Street, Happiness Street and Dessert District will be buzzing throughout the night, while families can enjoy over 200 rides and games at Carnaval, along with newer attractions including Dragon Kingdom, Gardens of the World and The Little Wonderers. With fireworks and drone shows running from 8pm to 1am, extended opening hours, and a world-in-one-place atmosphere, Global Village once again cements its status as one of Dubai’s top New Year’s Eve destinations.
